General Labourer – Woodworking Experience

Pay: CA$18.25–CA$19.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Work Location: In person – Richmond, BC

We are an established kitchen cabinet manufacturer in Richmond, BC, with over 50 years of experience in the industry. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable General Labourer with woodworking experience to join our production team and assist with a variety of shop duties.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with wood, basic knowledge of woodworking tools and equipment, and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

- Assist with general shop and production duties in a kitchen cabinet manufacturing workplace
- Perform basic woodworking tasks such as measuring, cutting, sanding, drilling, and assembling
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and properly
- Assist with cabinet components, materials, and finished products
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials around the shop
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow production instructions and workplace safety procedures
- Assist experienced cabinet makers and production staff as required
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned





Qualifications

- Previous woodworking, carpentry, cabinet-making, or construction experience is an asset
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read basic measurements and use a tape measure
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physically capable of standing, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous cabinet manufacturing experience is an asset, but training can be provided to the right candidate
