General Labourer / Fiberglass Panel Saw Operator – Afternoon Shift

Location: Mississauga, ON

Pay: $19–$20/hour

Shift: 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday–Friday

Training: First 2 weeks on the morning shift

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Fiberglass Cutting / General Labourer for a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work primarily with fiberglass products (approximately 95% fiberglass and 5% plastic) and operate manual cutting equipment to produce parts according to customer orders and specifications.

This is NOT a general labour position for candidates without relevant fiberglass/cutting experience. Previous fiberglass experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Cut fiberglass sheets, strips, and panels according to required dimensions.
- Operate manual saws, panel saws, band saws, and mitre/meter saws as required.
- Use a measuring tape and other measuring tools to ensure accurate cuts.
- Read and interpret basic drawings, measurements, and part dimensions.
- Match order numbers and part numbers accurately before cutting.
- Verify dimensions and specifications before completing each part.
- Follow measurements accurately and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Bundle finished products and apply additional tape as required.
- Perform packaging and general production duties.
- Assist as a floater in different departments when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in a dusty manufacturing environment.




- Follow workplace safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Perform other production duties that can be trained on the job.

Requirements
- Previous fiberglass manufacturing/cutting experience is required.
- Experience operating a band saw, panel saw, manual saw, or mitre/meter saw is strongly preferred.
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
- Ability to accurately measure dimensions using a measuring tape.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and part specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to correctly match order numbers and part numbers.
- Valuable English communication skills.
- Safety-minded, reliable, and dependable.
- Comfortable working in a dusty manufacturing environment.
- Physically capable of performing production and general labour duties.
- Own safety shoes.
- Must have valid authorization to work in Canada.

What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who has hands-on fiberglass cutting/manufacturing experience, understands measurements and dimensions, can operate manual cutting equipment safely, and pays close attention to part numbers and specifications.

Candidates without relevant fiberglass/cutting experience may not be considered.
