Job Summary

A Brief Overview Reporting to the Associate Director, Global Mobility Programs, in the International Programs Office, the Global Programs Coordinator plays a key role in the development, implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of Queen's global mobility programming. The Coordinator leads the operational coordination of summer programs, Study Abroad at Queen's, international exchange, and emerging global programming initiatives, managing multiple programs, projects, and timelines concurrently from planning through implementation and evaluation.



The role works across the full program lifecycle, including program development and administration, application, admission and enrolment processes, student recruitment and support, financial coordination, communications, and program assessment.

Working independently and collaboratively in a agile international education environment, the Coordinator builds and maintains effective relationships with academic and administrative units across Queen's, international partner institutions, and external stakeholders to advance program objectives and support effective program delivery and continuous improvement.

This position acts as the contact for students, staff and other departments regarding the program including requirements, standards, processes, and enrollment. This position oversees student academic progress including registration, course enrollments, grading, extensions, academic integrity issues, and degree completion. This position analyzes, develops, recommends, and implements approaches, measures, and plans for the program.

This position also establishes and maintains relationships with universities, industries, clients, program participants, corporations and/or alumni for the purposes of identifying opportunities, and building awareness and connection to the program.

The schedule for this position requires the incumbent to work evenings and weekends.

What you will do

- Acts as the contact for students, staff and other departments regarding the program including requirements, standards, processes, and enrollment.
- Oversees student academic progress including registration, course enrollments, grading, extensions, academic integrity issues, and degree completion.
- Analyzes, develops, recommends, and implements approaches, measures, and plans for the program.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with universities, industries, clients, program participants, corporations and/or alumni for the purposes of identifying opportunities, and building awareness and connection to the program.
- Plans, initiates, and/or attends recruitment events.
- Develops, recommends, and implements recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Participates in planning for department website content updates.
- Coordinates data collection and/or maintains information databases.
- Assists with annual budget decisions and monitors actuals and budgetary variances.
- Maintains and manages program sites, learning management systems, program calendars and links to webinar sessions and recordings.
- Performs accounting and bookkeeping duties including budgets, reports, invoices, reconciliations, casual payroll/timekeeping, and payment card administration.




- Other duties as required in support of the department and/or unit.

Required Education

- Four-Year Bachelor Degree or equivalent.

Required Experience

- More than 5 years of experience.
- - Experience in planning and/or managing projects considered an asset.
- Experience in program analysis and reporting considered an asset.
- Experience advising students considered an asset.
- Familiarity with experiential learning theory considered an asset.

Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.
