GRANIT PARTS USA

Greater Toronto Area

Company Description GRANIT PARTS USA is part of GRANIT PARTS, a leading international supplier of parts and accessories for agricultural machinery, construction equipment, and workshop needs. As the largest business unit of the family-owned FRICKE Group, with more than 100 years of entrepreneurial history, GRANIT PARTS combines long-term stability with a forward-looking mindset.

Backed by a robust global logistics network and deep product expertise, the company supports over 50,000 specialist dealers and repair workshops worldwide. Its portfolio of more than 14 million items spans OE spare parts, original equipment manufacturer components, and strong in-house brands, ensuring tailored solutions for diverse customer needs. GRANIT PARTS USA serves the U.S. market while remaining closely connected to the wider North American and global organization, offering local proximity with international scale and reliability.

Role Description The Head of Product & Market Strategy will lead the development and execution of product and market strategies for GRANIT PARTS USA, ensuring alignment with global objectives and local market needs. We are seeking a Product Strategy professional to own the product agenda for the U.S. business and serve as its technical and commercial authority on agricultural aftermarket parts.

This is a product- and customer-facing role: success means being in the field with dealers and workshops, knowing competitor assortments and pricing, closing gaps in the GRANIT catalog, and shaping a good-better-best product ladder that fits how customers actually buy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Proximity & Field Presence

• Get close to the customer — spend regular time in the field with dealers, independent repair shops, and end users to understand what they need, what they can't get today, and how they actually make a buy decision.

• Build direct relationships with key accounts and influential dealers that make GRANIT PARTS USA a trusted,

first-call source on product questions.

• Turn field input into action — translate what customers ask for (and can't get) into concrete product, assortment, and catalog decisions, working closely with sales.

Competitive & Market Intelligence

• Track competitor products and pricing across the aftermarket landscape — know what competitors carry, how they're priced, and where they're winning or losing share.

• Stay on top of market and equipment trends (tillage, planting, harvest, hydraulics, drivetrain, tractors, etc.) and translate them into implications for demand and assortment.

• Benchmark GRANIT's assortment against competitors and OEM channels on a regular cadence, and bring findings forward with clear recommendations.

Assortment Strategy & Product Gaps

• Own the product gap analysis — systematically identify where GRANIT's U.S. assortment is thin, missing, or uncompetitive, and prioritize what to fix first.

• Build and maintain a good-better-best product architecture for key categories, giving customers clear, well-differentiated choices across price and quality tiers to match different budgets and use cases.

• Evaluate adjacent product lines, supplier partnerships, and opportunities that strengthen the USA assortment and address identified gaps.

• Champion how parts are cataloged, presented, and cross-sold so the assortment is easy for dealers and customers to navigate and buy from.

Industry & Technical Expertise

• Serve as the internal subject-matter authority on aftermarket parts for agricultural equipment systems — fitment, cross-reference standards, and the repair workflows of independent dealers and workshops.

• Bring technical credibility to every customer and supplier conversation, able to hold a real discussion at a dealer's parts counter or service bay.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years in a product, category, or commercial leadership role within agricultural equipment, aftermarket parts, or related industrial distribution.

• Demonstrated hands-on or field-level knowledge of agricultural equipment and repair.

• Track record building or managing product assortments, including tiered (good-better-best) product strategies.

• Experience conducting competitive analysis and translating market/customer intelligence into assortment or pricing decisions.

• Comfortable operating with a distributed, family-owned European parent (FRICKE Group) and coordinating cross-border with Canadian and German counterparts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Existing relationships within the independent ag dealer and repair-shop network in the U.S.

• Background in product management, catalog development, or supplier sourcing within an aftermarket parts business.

• Experience with European-origin industrial or ag equipment/parts sourcing.

• Bachelor's degree in business, agribusiness, or related industry experience.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Customer-facing instinct — genuinely energized by being in front of dealers and end users, not just behind a desk.

• Market and competitive fluency — always knows what competitors are doing and why it matters.

• Product judgment — can spot a gap in the assortment and design the right good-better-best fix for it.

• Technical credibility — can hold a real conversation with a dealer's parts counter or service bay.

- Direct, accountability-first communication style — field-ready, not just corporate.
