Responsibilities

- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance their comfort and dignity
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and under supervision when required
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Help with light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for residents or clients
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being,



especially for those experiencing dementia or other cognitive challenges
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed
- Assist individuals with disabilities in activities that foster independence and improve quality of life

Experience

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly valued
- Experience caring for seniors or individuals with dementia or disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is an asset
- Background in caregiving, home care, or personal support roles demonstrates robust foundational skills
- Familiarity with cleaning routines, meal preparation, and basic household tasks supports holistic care delivery
- Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills is essential for building trust and rapport
