Duties

- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence and dignity
- Provide patient care including monitoring vital signs, assisting with medication administration, and supporting health routines under supervision
- Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition according to individual dietary requirements
- Help with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning patient areas, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic environment
- Offer emotional support and companionship to individuals with dementia, disabilities, or those receiving hospice care




- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting to ensure safe transfers and prevent injuries for both patients and staff
- Document care activities accurately in patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare team members about patient needs

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Strong background in patient care, senior care, or hospice support preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks with care
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate attitude towards diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and basic nursing procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
