Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dependable Helper to join our construction and maintenance team. In this vital role, you will assist skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of hands-on tasks that keep projects moving forward efficiently. Responsibilities

- Assist with the assembly, disassembly, and installation of building components using hand tools and power tools
- Support carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and fitting materials according to project specifications
- Aid in plumbing and HVAC work by preparing materials and assisting with routine maintenance tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Help with site cleanup, organization of tools and materials, and maintaining a safe work setting
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations as needed
- Support welding, schematics reading,



and other specialized tasks under supervision to develop technical proficiency

Requirements

- Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in construction trades or related fields
- Experience or familiarity with carpentry, plumbing, HVAC systems, or general construction work is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting schematics is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required on-site
- Willingness to learn new skills such as welding or advanced assembly techniques
- Prior construction experience is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to grow are key
