Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Powerclam, Logloader, and Skidder Operators to join our team and drive impactful projects in land development and forestry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate heavy machinery essential for clearing land, removing stumps, and preparing sites for mine expansion. Duties

- Operate heavy machinery including powerclam, logloader, skidder, and other related equipment to clear land, grub stumps, and move logs or debris efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist with site preparation by removing obstacles, brush, and unwanted vegetation
- Collaborate with team members to plan land clearing strategies based on project specifications and site conditions.
- Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning land clearing activities when applicable.




- Conduct safety inspections before and after operations to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as powerclams, logloaders, skidder machines, and related machinery in construction or forestry settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with construction processes, site preparation,
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment or materials.
- Robust safety awareness with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently.
