Sock Rocket is looking for our recent market booth attendant! We need a very personable, very trustworthy, and very cool human to be the face of our brand at some of the biggest holiday markets in Calgary and area this winter. You’ll be in charge of opening our booth space each morning, managing customer interactions throughout the day, and closing it up in the evening.

This is a temporary position, and requires full availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between November 13 and December 6 (four consecutive weekends).

The successful candidate for this job will be one who’s fun and cheerful, thrives in chaos, and is excited by the chance to contribute to a well-established local brand / social enterprise. What you'll do:

- Manage daily activities and general customer service interactions at various holiday markets in Calgary and area
- Open the booth at the beginning of the day and close it down at the end
- Welcome shoppers with a smile, talk to them about Sock Rocket, and answer any questions they might have about the socks or our company
- Manage transactions in cash and on card with our very simple Point of Sale system
- Communicate with our team throughout your work day
- Help with load-in, set-up, tear-down,



and load-out of the booth as needed
- Smile, laugh, and be merry at some of the coolest and most festive holiday markets around!

Who you are:

- Fun-loving, cheerful, and kind-hearted
- Trustworthy, honest, and punctual
- Confident in conversation with new people
- Hard-working and fast-learning
- A fan of social enterprise, or at least of the idea of helping others through business
- Some experience with retail sales and/or customer service in a store, kiosk, or market booth would be great, but isn't necessary
- Must have own vehicle transportation
