Job Summary

We are seeking a full‑time Home Support Worker to assist with the daily school transportation and medical dietary needs of a minor child with IBD/ulcerative colitis. The role includes driving the child to and from school, completing the mandatory midday pick‑up at 10:35 AM, preparing medically‑restricted meals at home, returning the child to school before 11:45 AM, and completing the afternoon pick‑up at 2:35 PM. Additional responsibilities include home supervision and maintaining a structured routine until 5 PM.

Employer provides the vehicle for all transportation.

Duties

- Drive the child to school in the morning using the employer’s vehicle
- Complete the mandatory midday school pick‑up at 10:35 AM
- Prepare medically‑restricted meals at home based on IBD/ulcerative colitis dietary requirements
- Return the child to school before 11:45 AM
- Pick up the child again at 2:35 PM and bring him home
- Provide home supervision and maintain a structured routine until 5 PM
- Monitor symptoms and communicate any concerns to the employer
- Follow daily schedules consistently and independently

Requirements





- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive the child to and from school using the employer’s vehicle
- Experience caring for children (including personal or family caregiving)
- Ability to prepare medically‑restricted meals for IBD/ulcerative colitis
- Ability to follow strict daily schedules independently
- Strong communication skills for reporting symptoms or concerns
- Reliability and consistency in completing daily school transportation
- Ability to maintain a calm, structured workplace at home
