Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing a friendly first impression.
- Manage waitlists and seat guests efficiently to minimize wait times.
- Assist servers by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness of host station, dining area, and surrounding spaces through regular cleaning.
- Support food service operations by delivering menus and assisting with guest inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate seating and service flow.
- Uphold high standards of food handling and hygiene in all tasks to ensure safety and quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food handling safety standards.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in rapid-paced environments while maintaining a positive attitude.
