Role:-HRIS Analyst

Location :- Montreal, QC

Contract- 12 Months

Hard and Soft Skills Required

- Hard skills:
- PeopleSoft (hands-on config, mapping tables, flag changes)
- Functional and technical Level 1 troubleshooting
- Acceptance criteria gathering and UAT sign-off
- Excel for data tasks; Power BI a plus; Jira management
- Soft skills:
- Stakeholder relationship building across HR and IT
- Clear communication to senior and non-technical audiences
- Accountability and ownership end-to-end
- Strong organization and documentation; comfort switching tasks rapidly
- Profiles to avoid: HR admin, payroll analyst, or purely strategic/BA backgrounds
- Minimum 4 years experience; 5-7 preferred for seniority and ability to push back on IT
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not a hard policy; manager will consider robust experience without one
- French not mandatory; English required; Spanish a plus

As a key member of the HR Analytics & Insights team, the HRIS Analyst serves as a strategic partner to HR stakeholders and IT functions across BNP Paribas Americas. This role is responsible for the end-to-end support, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of our HR technology ecosystem, encompassing both standard enterprise platforms and proprietary in-house applications.

The successful candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive digital transformation, leading initiatives to automate workflows, streamline data integration, and align regional practices with global standards. The role ensures that our HR technology suite provides high-quality, actionable data to support business decision-making and operational excellence.
