We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Millwright to join our maintenance team. This role is critical in ensuring the reliable operation of mechanical systems and equipment across our facility. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in belt tracking, conveyor system repair, motor and gearbox replacement, and general industrial maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, with a focus on conveyor systems, motors, and gearboxes.
- Track and align belts to ensure proper operation and minimize wear.
- Diagnose and repair issues with material handling systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Replace or rebuild motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and other mechanical components.
- Conduct routine inspections to detect mechanical failures or areas needing improvement.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment performance meets operational needs.
- Follow all safety protocols and actively participate in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Assist in equipment installations and machinery upgrades as required.

Qualifications





- Proven experience as a Millwright, Industrial Mechanic, or in a related mechanical maintenance role.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Belt tracking and alignment
- Conveyor systems (troubleshooting and repair)
- Motor and gearbox replacement
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Solid troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with basic electrical and low-voltage systems is an asset.
- Certification in Millwright, Industrial Mechanic, or a related trade preferred.
- Must be physically capable of working in industrial environments, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces when required.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 50.0 per week
