We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Window Coverings Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service by installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of window coverings for residential and commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform safe and professional installations of blinds, shades and other window treatments.
- Conduct repairs on existing window coverings, ensuring proper functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment
- Work in a safe manner on construction sites, residential and commercial areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients and exceeding their expectations
- Assist with sales efforts by providing product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Travel to surrounding areas may be required.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with hand and power tools.
- Comfort and proven ability to safely work at heights.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport with clients and resolve issues effectively.
- Knowledge of sales and customer service principles.
- Ability to measure accurately and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving abstract.
- Reliable transportation
- Retail sales experience is an asset.
