About the Role

As an Intermediate GHG Verifier, you will support and independently conduct greenhouse gas verification and validation engagements for clients participating in compliance and voluntary carbon markets across North America. You will work both independently and as part of a verification team, managing engagements from planning through to the issuance of verification statements, in accordance with applicable standards and program requirements.

Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct GHG verification and validation engagements in accordance with ISO 14064-3 and ISO 14065 requirements.
- Review client GHG reports, emissions data, monitoring plans, and supporting documentation to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance with applicable program requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, evidence evaluation, and independent recalculations as part of the verification process.
- Prepare explicit, well-documented verification reports, findings, and verification statements.
- Communicate professionally with clients throughout the engagement,



including interviews with responsible personnel and requests for supporting evidence.
- Support the planning and coordination of verification schedules and deliverables.
- Stay current with developments in GHG regulations, standards, and verification methodologies across relevant programs.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience conducting GHG verification and/or validation engagements.
- Demonstrated experience working in accordance with ISO 14065 and ISO 14064-3.
- Ability to independently manage and conduct verification engagements, with experience as a member of GHG verification teams.
- Strong understanding of GHG accounting, emissions quantification, evidence assessment, and verification principles.
- Experience with GHG quantification, reporting, and verification requirements across one or more regulatory or voluntary programs.
