Job Title: JAMS Platform Engineer (Workload Automation / Scheduler)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced JAMS Platform Engineer to support enterprise workload automation, job scheduling, platform operations, production support, risk reporting, and remediation planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining the JAMS Workload Automation platform, ensuring reliable job scheduling and execution, monitoring platform health, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting technology risk identification and remediation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with JAMS Scheduler, enterprise workload automation, batch processing, scripting, production support, incident management, and risk remediation.

Key Responsibilities

•

- Administer, configure, maintain, and support the JAMS Workload Automation / JAMS Scheduler platform.

•
- Develop, configure, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot JAMS jobs and workflows.

•
- Manage job dependencies, schedules, calendars, alerts, notifications, and execution parameters.

•
- Monitor scheduled workloads and ensure successful execution of critical production jobs.

•
- Troubleshoot job failures, scheduling issues, system errors, and production incidents.

•
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring platform and job-related issues.

•
- Support JAMS platform upgrades, configuration changes, maintenance activities, and deployment processes.

•
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, security, and operations teams to resolve workload automation issues.

•




- Maintain technical documentation for JAMS configurations, job dependencies, operational procedures, and support processes.

•
- Identify platform and operational risks and contribute to risk reporting and remediation planning.

•
- Track technology risks, vulnerabilities, control gaps, remediation actions, owners, and target completion dates.

•
- Prepare risk status reports, remediation plans, action items, and management updates.

•
- Coordinate with technical and business stakeholders to establish remediation timelines and track progress.

•
- Support audit, compliance, control, and risk assessment activities related to workload automation and platform operations.

Required Technical Skills

•
- Strong hands-on experience with JAMS Workload Automation / JAMS Scheduler.

•
- Experience with enterprise job scheduling and workload automation platforms.

•
- Experience configuring and managing jobs, workflows, schedules, dependencies, alerts, and notifications.

•
- Strong production support and troubleshooting experience.

•
- Experience with batch processing and automated job execution.

•
- Solid understanding of enterprise application, infrastructure, and system dependencies.

•
- Experience with Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Root Cause Analysis.

•
- Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Shell scripting,



or similar scripting technologies.

•
- Experience working with Windows and/or Linux environments.

•
- Ability to analyze production issues and coordinate resolution across multiple technical teams.

Risk Reporting and Remediation

•
- Experience identifying, documenting, and reporting technology and operational risks.

•
- Experience preparing risk reports and remediation status updates.

•
- Experience developing and tracking remediation plans, milestones, owners, dependencies, and target completion dates.

•
- Ability to coordinate remediation activities across infrastructure, application, security, and operations teams.

•
- Experience supporting audit findings, control gaps, compliance requirements, risk assessments, and remediation activities.

Preferred Skills

•
- Experience supporting JAMS in a large enterprise environment.

•
- Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated environments.

•
- Knowledge of ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.

•
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability tools.

•
- Knowledge of database technologies and enterprise application integrations.

•
- Experience with security, vulnerability, compliance, and technology risk remediation.

Qualifications

•
- Proven experience as a JAMS Platform Engineer, JAMS Administrator, Workload Automation Engineer, Scheduler Administrator, or similar role.

- Strong production support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

•
- Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills.

•
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

•
- Ability to work independently
