Duties

- Prepare fresh sushi rolls according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Handle food preparation tasks including slicing, assembling, and garnishing ingredients
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas
- Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, contributing to smooth operations
- Serve customers with enthusiasm, taking orders and providing excellent food service experience
- Follow food safety guidelines to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination

Skills





- Experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with sushi or Japanese cuisine
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices within the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in sushi preparation and general food industry tools
- Enthusiasm for learning new techniques related to sushi rolling and presentation
