Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Journaleur to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery, reading blueprints, and ensuring the highest standards of quality control. Your expertise in CNC programming, welding, and mechanical assembly will be vital to producing precision components efficiently and safely.

Duties

- Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and other machining equipment with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to produce accurate parts.
- Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls and other programmable logic controllers to ensure efficient production runs.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques to assemble components according to specifications.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills to measure, inspect, and verify parts meet quality standards.




- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Assist with packaging finished products and preparing them for shipment while maintaining safety protocols in the warehouse.

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment.
- Robust knowledge of Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and CNC programming.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and utilize CAD software like SolidWorks or similar tools.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in welding, assembly, and use of hand tools.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and quality control procedures.
- Warehouse experience is a plus; must be comfortable using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; attention to detail is essential for ensuring product quality.
