Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Formwork Carpenter to join our agile construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling formwork systems that shape concrete structures on various projects. Your expertise will ensure the precision and safety of formwork setups, contributing to the successful completion of building foundations, walls, and other structural elements.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine formwork requirements.

Construct and assemble formwork using hand tools and power tools, ensuring accuracy and stability.
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes or forklifts safely to position large formwork components.
- Manage concrete pouring, finishing, and curing processes to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Perform restoration work on existing structures during renovation or repair projects,



including drywall installation and caulking.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling heavy lifting tasks and operating machinery to prevent accidents.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Journeyman Formwork Carpenter or similar role within the construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, masonry, concrete forming, and rebar installation techniques.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery relevant to formwork construction.
- Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately.
- Demonstrated competence in concrete finishing, flooring installation, drywall work, and renovation projects.
- Strong understanding of schematics related to construction layouts and structural details.
