As a Junior Category Manager - Living Room Upholstery - Small Bodies & Made to Order Business, you'll drive the continuous in-season health, margin optimization, and cross-functional execution of these integral categories.

This fits into our larger need to expand our Living Room Upholstery and Made-to-Order categories, ensuring we deliver the right products at the right price and time while hitting our financial targets.

Within the first few months, you’d take ownership of in-season reporting, support line plan creation, and ensure product milestone deadlines are met. In a year, you’ll be proud to say you’ve optimized the category's margin profile, managed key product lifecycles, and helped scale our Made to Order business.

About the Category Management Team

We are a collaborative team that bridges customer insights with commercial execution. We work closely with Design, Sourcing, Merchandise Planning, and global factory partners to bring product assortments to life across digital channels.

We are a hybrid team - you'll be in the office 3 days per week.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be part of the Category Management team, working under the guidance of the Category Manager to solve product assortment, pricing, and execution challenges across Small Bodies & Made to Order Upholstery.

- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Living Room Upholstery, keeping a pulse on consumer trends, market competition, and the Article customer.
- Support the creation and execution of category line plans to deliver the right product at the right price and time.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Sourcing, and Merchandise Planning from analysis through recommendation.
- Define pricing architecture to optimize revenue and deliver against margin expectations.
- Ensure all product commercialization calendar milestone deadlines are hit on schedule.
- Share accountability for revenue targets by continuously monitoring performance and reacting to business results.
- Conduct extensive in-season and post-season market analysis to maintain unrivaled product quality and customer value.
- Manage product lifecycles end-to-end, including promotional strategies, sales initiatives, and product exits.




- Communicate category strategy to Marketing and Sales teams to align campaign executions with business goals.

Who You Are

- 2+ years of experience in Category Management, ideally within eCommerce or the furniture industry.
- Robust knowledge of category management, merchandising, marketing, and sales principles.
- Analytical mindset with a solid understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a deadline-driven work ethic.
- Adaptable multitasker capable of managing tight deadlines and expected to take ownership of your work.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with factories, customers, and internal colleagues.
- Completion of related post-secondary courses preferred.
- Comfortable with occasional international travel (1–2 trips per year).
- Legally able to work in Canada.
- Completion of criminal background check.
