Kitchen Cabinet Designer

Royal Wood Design | St. John’s, NL | Full-time

Compensation: Base salary plus commission

Royal Wood Design is looking for a Kitchen Cabinet Designer to help customers turn their ideas into kitchens that look great and work well every day. You’ll meet with clients, develop cabinet layouts, prepare quotes, and guide projects from the first conversation through final design approval.

We’re a local cabinet company with our own manufacturing and installation teams. This role suits someone who enjoys both design and customer service, pays close attention to measurements and details, and can keep projects moving.

What you’ll do

- Meet with customers to understand their needs, style, budget, and timeline.
- Design practical kitchen layouts and present cabinet, finish, hardware, and storage options.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and accurate quotes.
- Follow up with customers, revise designs, and help turn proposals into confirmed projects.
- Confirm measurements, appliance details,



and selections before production.
- Work closely with our shop and installation teams to resolve design questions.

What we’re looking for

- Experience in kitchen design, cabinetry, millwork, or a related field.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Confidence reading measurements and producing accurate, buildable designs.
- Valuable organization and follow-through across multiple projects.
- Experience with Mozaik or other CAD software is an asset.
- Sales experience is an asset.

Compensation This position offers a base salary plus commission. We’ll discuss the salary range and commission structure with candidates during the hiring process.
