Duties

- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to support chefs and cooks
- Cook and assemble meals according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or guests in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring ingredient freshness




- Follow all health regulations and safety protocols to ensure a protected working environment

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a focus on meal preparation and cooking
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and safety regulations in the food industry
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and basic cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food industry standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety practices
- Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and contributing positively to team efforts
