Qualifications

MINIMAL FORMAL EDUCATION REQUIRED:

- Masters degree in a related study area.

OR
- Bachelors degree or completion of a Community College course in a related discipline with three years = directly-related experience.

EXPERIENCE:

- Prior experience (minimum 3 years) in an academic lab with related research techniques is required.
- Experience with RITHIM preferred.
- Experience with Oroboros preferred.
- Experience with mono nuclear blood processing preferred.
- Experience with PBMC separation into B and Non B cells. Experience with Seahorse- Experience with flow cytometry.
- Experience with ATAC.
- Experience with 10x single-cell library prep and Flex assay.
- Experience using BioRender for scientific illustrations and figures.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
- Ability and willingness to learn new techniques is required.
- Demonstrated ability in using computer software related to word processing (e.g. Microsoft Office, Outlook,



Teams, Excel) is required.
- Comfortable in a lab setting involving biological specimens and storage/shipping of dangerous goods is required.
- Experience with following protocols is required.
- Reasonable manual dexterity and eye site is required for the placement of continuous glucose monitors is required.
- A satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.

Key responsibilities

- Mitochondrial Function testing and biologic testing.
- Project coordination.
- Sample management D.
- May be required to perform related duties not exceeding skills and capabilities as required.
