Crockatt Contracting is a family-owned construction company building and renovating homes, light commercial spaces, and agricultural buildings (barns, stables, horse arenas) across southern Vancouver Island. We're growing, and we want a journeyman carpenter who loves the trade and takes pride in every detail.

Who you are

- A Red Seal or experienced journeyman carpenter with a well-rounded background
- Comfortable with every stage of a build: forming and concrete, framing, siding, exterior and interior finishing
- Someone who understands the whole building, not just their part of it, and can read a set of plans and see the job through
- Detail-oriented. You notice the small things and won't walk away from work you're not proud of

- Organized and clean. You run a tidy site and respect the client's home
- Good with people.



You can talk comfortably with homeowners, keep them informed, and represent our company well
- Able to plan your work, manage tasks and materials, coordinate with trades, and keep a project moving

- Passionate about carpentry and still keen to learn and improve your craft

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
