Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead HVAC Technician to oversee and execute complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems maintenance and repairs. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that all HVAC-related systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. Your mechanical expertise, combined with strong leadership skills, will drive quality service delivery across various commercial or industrial facilities.

Duties

- Lead and coordinate HVAC installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair projects with precision and efficiency.
- Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical diagrams to diagnose system issues accurately.
- Perform plumbing, welding, boiler servicing, appliance repairs, and other mechanical tasks as needed to ensure system integrity.
- Supervise and mentor technicians in the safe use of tools and equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and electrical connections, to identify potential problems early.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used,



and system performance logs for accountability and future reference.

Experience

- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician specializing in HVAC systems with a robust background in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, or appliance repair.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge across various systems including heating units, ventilation equipment, refrigeration units, and related machinery.
- Prior leadership experience overseeing a team of technicians or tradespeople in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals essential for troubleshooting complex HVAC systems.
- Construction experience is highly desirable to understand building integration processes thoroughly.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance of boilers or other large-scale mechanical equipment is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
