The opportunity:
Reporting to the Director, SCGS Programs, the Lead, Recruitment will develop and execute strategic, data-driven recruitment plans for a portfolio of qualified programs, including the MBA, Master of Finance (MFin), Master of Supply Chain Management (MSCM), and upcoming specialized programs. This 18-month project position will lead national and international recruitment initiatives, manage the full prospective student lifecycle, and implement targeted strategies to strengthen program awareness, engagement, and enrollment.
The Lead, Recruitment will work collaboratively with marketing, program leadership, and university recruitment teams to support enrollment objectives and expand the school’s graduate program portfolio. The role will leverage recruitment data and market insights to identify opportunities, optimize recruitment activities, build relationships with prospective students and key stakeholders, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the school’s professional programs.
The qualifications and experience we’re looking for:
- Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, communications, education or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of university regulations, programs and procedures as they relate to the function/program.
- Three years of directly-related administrative experience is required.
- 3–5+ years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, or higher education marketing.
- Proven experience in recruitment in post-secondary setting.
- Experience developing and executing recruitment strategies to meet enrollment targets and grow program pipelines.
- Experience managing full applicant lifecycle, from inquiry to enrollment, with demonstrated success in increasing conversion rates.
- Experience planning and managing recruitment events (info sessions, webinars, fairs, conferences, corporate visits).
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain high-yield recruitment pipelines, including corporate partnerships, feeder schools, international markets, and professional associations.
- Experience working with international recruitment agents/partners and developing new networks.
- Experience using CRM systems (Slate) for lead tracking, communication, and reporting.
- Experience developing marketing and communication materials for recruitment purposes, including website content and social media campaigns.
- Experience collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders (faculty, alumni, marketing, admissions) to execute recruitment initiatives.
- Experience preparing and managing budgets related to recruitment activities is preferred.
- International experience or interest required.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills are required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Analytical skills to track recruitment metrics, evaluate funnel performance, and make data-driven decisions is required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is required.
- Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally,
including some evening and weekend commitments is required.
- A satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
- Knowledge of graduate management education and professional program trends is an asset.
- Must be willing and able to travel nationally and internationally on occasion.
- Must be willing and able to work evening and weekends on occasion.
