Elevate heavy equipment training at Elk Valley Resources in the Elk Valley, British Columbia. This lead training position focuses on apprenticeship program design and delivery in a hands-on setting. In this role, you will manage the HDET Apprenticeship Program, reporting directly to the Manager of Training & Development.

Your mission is to support apprenticeship development from Levels 1 to 4, ensuring a thorough understanding and competence in heavy duty equipment technologies. You'll need to adapt content for diverse learning styles while maintaining safety and accountability. Key Responsibilities:

- Define and lead apprenticeship strategy and execution
- Align training materials with Red Seal and regulatory standards




- Work with educational institutions and stakeholders to enhance progression
- Implement effective training and evaluation processes
- Keep accurate records of training and apprentice competency Requirements:
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification
- Minimum 5 years in heavy equipment maintenance, ideally in mining
- History of successfully training or mentoring tradespersons
- Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills
