Step into a leadership role as the Lead Apprenticeship Trainer at Elk Valley Resources. Guide the Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprenticeship Program in British Columbia while fostering a culture of safety and professionalism. As the Lead Apprenticeship Trainer, you’ll report to the Manager of Training & Development.

Your focus will be on Levels 1 through 4 of the Heavy Duty Equipment Technician program. You'll provide dedicated instruction and support, ensuring apprentices progress effectively in their training journey. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead apprentices through Levels 1-4 technical training
- Develop and maintain apprenticeship training plans
- Collaborate with College of the Rockies and stakeholders
- Deliver classroom, shop, and field-based HDET training
- Monitor program effectiveness and track apprentice progress Requirements:
- Interprovincial Red Seal HDET certification
- 5+ years of heavy equipment experience
- Experience in training or mentoring apprentices
- Robust competency in equipment diagnostics
