Kelly is currently recruiting for a Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) on behalf of a leading food manufacturing organization in Ajax, Ontario.

Shift Schedule This position operates on a rotating three-shift schedule:

- Days: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Afternoons: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Nights: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Candidates interested in permanent afternoon or night shifts may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed packaging and processing equipment
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities
- Respond to production breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Repair and maintain conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and material handling equipment
- Complete fabrication and welding repairs as required
- Assist with maintenance and capital projects




- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards

What We're Looking For

- Valid Ontario 433A Industrial Millwright License
- Experience working in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, packaging, or other high-speed manufacturing environments
- Robust mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working on high-speed packaging and automated production equipment
- Fabrication, machining, and welding experience
- Experience using machine shop equipment such as lathes and milling machines
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety

Preferred Experience

Experience working with:

- Filling machines
- Packaging equipment
- Conveyors and material handling systems
- Automated manufacturing equipment
- PLC-controlled machinery
- Preventative maintenance programs
