Summary

We are seeking a talented Part-Time Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Fennec Kitchen & Bar in Edmonton. This role is essential in ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes that align with our mission of providing an outstanding dining experience. Your contributions will directly impact our guests' satisfaction and the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed.
- Assist in menu planning and food preparation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.




- Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.
- Uphold the restaurant's standards for quality and presentation.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a fast-paced environment for a minimum of 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent knife skills and culinary techniques.
- Familiarity with fine dining standards is a plus.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
