Position Summary The Korean Localization Specialist supports the Live Operations team by coordinating and assisting with projects and providing translation and localization support.

- This is a hybrid position, with 3 days in office (Tues-Thurs) and 2 days work from home (Mon & Fri) until further notice.

Position Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Coordinate and support cross-functional projects across various teams.
- Manage SNS channels and community platforms, including Discord operations.
- Prepare and share weekly reports on project status, community trends, and key insights
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track progress, timelines, and deliverables across assigned projects.
Translation and Localization
- Assist the Live Operations team in all tasks related to translating documents, including emails, design documents, slide presentations, etc.
- Assist the Live Operations team with external communications and interactions; maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ensure that all communications remain culturally acceptable, as to promote growth between internal and external partnerships.
- Assist other teams with day-to-day tasks to ensure that all projects remain on schedule.

Position Outcomes/Objectives & Standards of Performance 1. Localization requests are handled in a timely and accurate manner
Regular sampling and evaluation done by PMs and/or managers of present and past requests to confirm quality of documentation.
2. Tasks delegated by the AP or other team members are completed in a timely manner while maintaining high quality of work.

Information is collected and shared with the team in an efficient and effective manner.

Required Behaviour, Skills, and Knowledge
- Bilingual (professional) fluency in Korean and English (written and verbal);
- Basic understanding of computer hardware/software; technically proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Able to interpret and empathize with stakeholder needs;
- Team oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills;
- Ability to actively respond to issues and provide quick, timely resolution;
- This position may require occasional evening work due to collaboration with the Korea headquarters;
- 1 to 2 years of previous localization experience a strong asset;
- Previous gaming industry experience is a strong asset;
- Previous experience with data analysis and drafting periodic reports;
- Previous experience assisting voice recording (production) projects a strong asset but not required
- Passion for on-line gaming is a strong asset;
- Fluency in other languages a robust asset;
- Availability to work overtime (paid) is an asset.
