Your Opportunity

Triple M Metal LP is seeking a detail-oriented Rail Logistics Coordinator to manage day-to-day rail transportation activities for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Reporting to the Manager, OTR Logistics, you will help keep railcar supply, shipments, yard capacity, customer commitments, and carrier activity moving safely, reliably, and cost-effectively.

You will work closely with Operations, Commercial, Finance, customers, and rail carriers to prevent service failures, congestion, demurrage, and billing errors while maintaining accurate information across IntelliTrans GVP, carrier portals, internal rail schedules, and Mayer.

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000

What You Will Do

- Coordinate inbound and outbound rail movements, including railcar supply, waybilling, switching, placement, and yard-capacity planning.
- Manage private railcar flow using tracking and tracing tools, carrier portals, internal schedules, IntelliTrans, and Mayer.
- Coordinate freight requirements with rail carriers, transportation contractors, customers, and internal Logistics, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Procurement, and Sales teams.
- Support sales-order fulfilment and resolve carrier exceptions, service issues, congestion, demurrage, and freight-billing discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain transportation documentation, reports, schedules, freight-rate requests, and applicable Canadian and U.S. customs documentation.
- Monitor transportation costs and performance metrics, investigate variances, and recommend timely corrective actions and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate logistics, inventory, and property-movement records and support related policies, procedures, and planning activities.
- Follow all health, safety, quality,



and environmental requirements; report incidents, hazards, and concerns promptly.

What You Bring

- A university or college diploma in logistics, customs, importing/exporting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Three to five years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a similar role.
- Strong organization, prioritization, problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to respond professionally in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to Have

- Experience in the metals, recycling, rail, or a related industry.
- Knowledge of Mayer, IntelliTrans, integrated logistics, internal payment methods, or Association of American Railroads rules and regulations.
- CITT certification or the P.Log designation.
- Knowledge of or experience with CTPAT.
- Written or spoken proficiency in Spanish.

Working Environment This role is based in a typical office environment and requires frequent visual attention when working with computer systems and operational data.
