JOB SUMMARY

Client is seeking an experienced Mainframe QA E2E Test Lead to lead end-to-end quality assurance activities across enterprise applications, cloud migration initiatives, and digital transformation programs. The candidate will be responsible for test strategy, planning, execution, automation, defect management, stakeholder coordination, and release readiness within an Agile environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and execute end-to-end test strategies, test plans, and validation frameworks.

• Lead functional, integration, regression, API, SIT, UAT, system, and end-to-end testing activities across multiple applications.

- Lead Mainframe testing activities, including validation of data within Mainframe tables and schemas.
- Perform Stored Procedure testing and validate database results.

• Lead UI functional testing and validate application functionality against business requirements.

- Coordinate end-to-end testing across multiple applications, teams, and technology platforms.
- Develop and maintain testing artifacts, including test cases, test scenarios, test strategies, test execution reports, and test summary reports.

• Plan and execute regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Drive test automation initiatives using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, and Rest Assured.

- Execute or troubleshoot automation scripts and support automation testing activities.
- Coordinate with Business Analysts, business stakeholders, developers, architects, DevOps teams, and other QA teams to ensure release readiness.
- Lead defect management activities, including defect identification, tracking, prioritization,



root-cause coordination, and resolution validation.
- Perform test risk assessment and communicate testing status, issues, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Support continuous quality improvement and optimization of QA processes.
- Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 7–9 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.

• Strong experience in End-to-End (E2E) testing and QA leadership.

• Hands-on experience with Mainframe testing.

• Experience validating data in Mainframe tables and schemas.

• Experience with Stored Procedure testing.

• Strong experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, SIT, UAT, Smoke, API, and E2E testing.

• Experience with UI functional testing.

- Experience creating Test Cases, Test Strategy, Test Plans, and Test Summary Reports.
- Ability to coordinate testing across multiple applications and technology teams.
- Good understanding of test automation concepts.

• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, and/or Rest Assured is preferred.

- Ability to execute, troubleshoot, or support automation scripts.
- Strong defect management and test reporting experience.
- Solid stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.

NICE TO HAVE:

- Experience supporting enterprise application modernization or cloud migration programs.
- Experience working on digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience coordinating QA activities across complex enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps processes.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

The ideal candidate is a hands-on QA Test Lead with strong Mainframe testing experience and proven expertise in E2E testing. The candidate should be comfortable coordinating multiple testing workstreams, validating Mainframe data and Stored Procedures, managing defects and risks, preparing QA artifacts, and working closely with business, development, architecture, and DevOps teams.
