Maintenance Worker (Cleaning and Snow Removal Required)

We are seeking a single individual who are customer service focused, detail oriented and hard-working to join our team. You would be required to work Friday to Monday (Plus Holidays). (coverage for weekends)

The Maintenance worker is responsible for the performance of maintenance,

preventative maintenance, housekeeping and repair duties while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and customer service.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Performs housekeeping responsibilities, as required, to maintain a clean and operational building by:

- Ensure cleanliness of common areas & corridors
- Facilitate work orders and perform minor maintenance tasks
- Monitor and assist as needed with Grounds maintenance and Snow removal duties
- Monitor and maintain waste collection, bin placements and preparation for City pickup
- Completion and recording of assigned housekeeping program tasks.

Maintain a high level of resident relations by:

- Maintain positive relations with residents
- Always ensure resident safety and security
- Respond appropriately and professionally to emergencies

General:

- Follow an 'on-call' schedule




- Maintain accurate maintenance, safety, cleaning logs as.required by the City of Ottawa
- Ensures work carried out is in accordance with applicable health and safety legislation, policies and procedures relevant to the work
- Performs other related duties consistent with the duties outlined above assigned by Condo Manager or Building Representative

Experience: Minimum two years of related experience

Personal Suitability:

Must be in positive physical condition and ability to perform related physical work. Ability to work various schedules.

Good interpersonal and customer service skills A satisfactory reference check, criminal records clearance.

Must be a non-smoker as the building prohibits any smoking.

Must be able to travel less than 15 min to arrive at work (live close to property in order to walk or have a vehicle to drive)
