Job Summary

We're currently looking for a skilled Manual Machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality components with precision and consistency. If you enjoy hands-on machining, solving technical challenges, and working in a collaborative manufacturing environment, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

As a Manual Machinist, you will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations by producing precision machined parts and components used in our equipment.

- Set up and operate conventional manual machine tools, including lathes, mills, drill presses, and grinders
- Machine components to precise specifications using technical drawings and work instructions
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and dimensional tolerances
- Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators
- Select appropriate tooling, feeds, and speeds for various materials and machining operations
- Perform equipment adjustments and routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure production requirements are met

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Manual Machinist in a manufacturing environment




- Strong proficiency operating conventional manual lathes and milling machines
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with stainless steel
- Robust understanding of machining practices, tooling, and part inspection techniques
- Commitment to producing quality work with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
