About the role

Work outdoors in a great marine setting. Blackline Marine is hiring an energetic, reliable team member for our Composites Repair department at Canoe Cove Marina. This is an intermediate, physically active role focused on hull and outer‑structure maintenance for yachts—ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work and wants to build a long‑term career in the marine industry.

What you’ll do

- Hull cleaning, bottom painting, polishing, and waxing
- Structural and cosmetic fiberglass repairs
- General boat repairs and maintenance (hull/exteriors only)
- Safe use of hand and power tools in a busy marina
- Follow company procedures and quality standards

What you bring (requirements)

Required

- Minimum of 2 years prior experience working on boats (hull cleaning, painting, polishing, fiberglass work)
- Ability to reliably commute or relocate to North Saanich, BC before starting
- English language proficiency
- Comfortable with physical work: lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs; sustained work at waist/chest height; handling tools up to 10 lbs
- A competitive wage will be negotiated with the right candidate





Strongly preferred:
- Experience in boat maintenance/repair, especially composites/fiberglass

Note: This is not a mechanical, electrical, or welding position. Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
