About 7 Knots Digital
7 Knots Digital is a B2B demand generation and campaign execution agency. We partner with more than 100 B2B media companies, event organizers, and trade associations across the US, Canada, and Europe. We help them fill their events and webinars and generate qualified leads through email marketing, lead generation, webinar attendance programs, and event marketing campaigns.
We're not a paid media agency. We specialize in event marketing, attendance, and strategy, and we often work alongside our clients' media partners. Our team of 20+ people works across North America and Riga, Latvia. We also run Dock, our own event campaign platform, which supports 100+ events.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist to manage CRM and email marketing programs for our clients. You'll work across multiple client accounts as a hands-on operator. That means configuring CRMs, building automated workflows, deploying email campaigns, and creating the audience segments that drive registrations and pipeline.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety and can switch easily between client environments. You should be curious about new tech and take ownership of getting things right for people outside your own building.
What You'll Do
Campaign Execution & Platform Management
- Build, deploy, and QA email campaigns and automated workflows end-to-end across Omeda, HubSpot, Marketo, and other client platforms
- Manage the full campaign lifecycle: segmentation, setup, QA, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting
- Monitor deliverability and troubleshoot data, sync, and workflow issues across different client tech stacks
- Support landing page setup, registration flows, and nurture sequences for events and webinars
Client Accounts
- Serve as the technical lead on multiple client accounts, working alongside our Account Managers and Strategy & Content team.
- Act as a trusted marketing ops resource on client calls, and turn client goals into execution-ready campaign plans
- Onboard new clients onto their CRM and email systems, and document processes for ongoing account management
Segmentation, Data & Optimization
- Design and maintain audience segments tailored to each client's ICP, event audience, and goals
- Keep CRM data clean and platforms properly configured
- Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, send times, and segmentation logic
- Track performance (open rate, CTR, registrations, MQLs, CPL), share insights, and recommend improvements
Systems & Process
- Contribute to playbooks, SOPs, and standardized templates for segmentation, QA, and deployment
- Improve campaign production speed without sacrificing quality
- Stay current on martech trends and bring new tools and approaches, including AI, to client engagements
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, including building workflows and automations and deploying email
- Experience with Omeda and HubSpot specifically; familiarity with Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, or similar is a plus
- Proven ability to build and manage audience segments (lists, properties, lifecycle workflows, field mapping)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and competing deadlines
- A strategic mindset: you connect execution to each client's broader goals and adjust segments based on performance and content
- Strong QA discipline and attention to detail
- Comfortable working directly with clients, not just internal stakeholders
- Able to work core US Eastern Time business hours
- Professional working English
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Clay or other data enrichment tools
- Experience applying AI tools to marketing ops work, including writing structured prompts and validating outputs before deployment
- Comfort with data analytics and turning numbers into actionable recommendations
- Agency experience managing multiple client accounts at once
- Experience with event or webinar marketing, or with B2B media publishers
Who You Are
- A builder who likes making systems run smoother and smarter
- Detail-oriented, but you never lose sight of the "why" behind the work
- Someone who asks good questions and isn't afraid to challenge and be challenged
- Adaptable, and quick to learn a recent client's stack, data, and quirks
- Comfortable working independently on a remote, distributed team
Why Join Us
- Work on campaigns for well-known B2B media brands, events, and associations
- Variety: multiple clients, platforms, and event types
- A fully remote role on a global team that values initiative, collaboration, and continuous growth
- The chance to help shape our campaign systems and in-house platform as we scale
- Group health, dental and vision benefits, including prescription drugs, travel coverage and an Employee Assistance Program
- 20 days' vacation
- A company laptop and annual tech stipend
- Core hours aligned to Eastern Time
