This is a family practice/walk in clinic. I am looking for a hard working, determined, kind and caring medical assistant that is comfortable working independently in seeing walk in and booked patients though you will have full support either in person or by phone/video from Dr. Sheth.

Common visits will including assessments of vital signs, and management of common conditions like MSK pain, hypertension, obesity and diabetes. Many patients will be seen for preventative health visits and this clinic will help to satisfy a huge need of medical services in Orillia that is currently under serviced.

The candidate should be able to type quickly and be familiar with charting / using computers (although templates will also be provided to ease documentation). Currently we use Juno EMR which is based on oscar but will be switching to Input health in 2-3 months.



It is very significant the candidate has recent clinical experience ideally in some form of general or specialty medical practice.

The candidate should be fluent in English. Ideally typing speed of 50-60 wpm. Ideally someone that is relatively local to minimize commute time (within 20-30 minutes driving distance or prepared to move if living further away).

This is a part time position typically 1 day a week (right away) but may expand as our current IMG reduces hours or moves on to residency next year.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
