Medical Device Assembly Technician – Laser Welding

Laser Weld Creation is looking for a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined person to join our team as a Medical Device Assembly Technician.

In this role, you will be involved in the assembly and laser welding of specialized medical components, including brain stents. While the work involves advanced laser technology and highly precise components, no previous laser welding experience is required. We provide hands-on training and will teach you the process from the ground up.

This is a hands-on position that requires patience, precision, good hand-eye coordination, and a strong attention to detail. Once trained, you will work with specialized laser welding equipment to perform precise assembly operations according to established procedures and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

- Assemble small, precision medical components
- Operate specialized laser welding equipment after training
- Perform precise laser welding and assembly operations
- Follow established procedures and work instructions
- Inspect components for quality and consistency
- Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment
- Maintain accurate and organized work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures




- Work as part of a small team and communicate effectively with coworkers

Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and patience
- Positive hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Comfortable working with small components and precision work
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning how equipment works
- Reliable and consistent
- Able to follow detailed instructions and established procedures
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, jewelry, electronics, dental, medical-device, or similar precision work is an asset, but not required
- Previous laser welding experience is not required — full training will be provided

No previous laser welding experience is required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Pay: $17.60-$19.60 per hour
