We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mig Welder/Fabricator to join our energetic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in various welding techniques, mechanical understanding, and fabrication processes will contribute to the production of high-quality products.

Location: Langstaff Rd and Citation Dr

Schedule: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday; 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Friday

Duties

- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on various metal parts, ensuring strong and accurate welds according to schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret detailed schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to guide fabrication and assembly processes
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape, cut, bend, and assemble metal components
- Conduct rigging operations for lifting and positioning heavy materials or assemblies safely using cranes or forklifts
- Measure parts with calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools to ensure dimensional accuracy




- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks involving ductwork, structural components, or custom fabrications requiring mechanical knowledge

Qualifications

- Proven experience in MIG welding
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math calculations
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and other fabrication machinery
- Knowledge of rigging techniques and crane operation for material handling
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret schematics for assembly or fabrication tasks
- Construction or manufacturing experience preferred; familiarity with ductwork or structural steel is advantageous
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely is desirable
- Good understanding of welding safety practices and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
