Role Description This is a full-time, in office Mortgage Broker role based in Surrey, BC.

The Mortgage

Broker will work directly with clients to assess financial goals, analyze credit and income information, and recommend appropriate mortgage products and lending solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, preparing and submitting mortgage applications, liaising with lenders and underwriters, and managing the financing process from initial inquiry to closing. The role also involves educating clients on mortgage options, including debt consolidation, refinancing, and specialized products,



while ensuring all documentation and regulatory requirements are met.

The Mortgage

Broker will contribute to business development through relationship-building, networking, and mortgage marketing activities that support the growth of the brokerage.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in mortgage brokerage and mortgage brokering practices (e.g., Mortgage Brokers, Brokerage).
- Strong understanding of finance and lending principles, including experience with financial analysis and loan structures (e.g., Finance, Debt Consolidation).
- Ability to develop and execute mortgage marketing initiatives to attract and retain clients (e.g., Mortgage Marketing).
- Provincial licensing or registration as a Mortgage Broker in British Columbia, or eligibility and willingness to obtain required credentials.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and client service skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple files simultaneously, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with lenders, underwriters, and other real estate and financial professionals; prior brokerage or banking experience is an asset.
- Proficiency with mortgage origination software and standard office applications; comfort working with digital documentation and compliance processes.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to non-discriminatory, client-centered service.
