Title: Site Superintendent

Job Type: Full time, Permanent A growing construction company specializing in municipal infrastructure projects across Southern Ontario is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee an active project in Gananoque.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate civil, mechanical, and electrical trades, maintain project schedules, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. This role will also serve as a key point of contact for owners, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee construction activities from project start through completion
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and site personnel
- Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and construction documentation
- Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and project progress
- Maintain daily reports, site logs, planning tools,



and commissioning documentation
- Support project managers with planning and execution

Requirements:

- 3–5+ years of municipal infrastructure construction experience
- Strong heavy civil, concrete, and water/wastewater construction experience
- Experience with a general or civil contractor preferred
- Strong blueprint and specification interpretation skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- First Aid, WHMIS, and Working at Heights certifications are preferred

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- WHMIS Certification (preferred)
- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
