Job summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales Canada, the National Architectural Manager is responsible for supporting the commercial sales team. With their demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills, the National Architectural Manager reinforces and advances the Schluter Systems business model, philosophies, and strategic objectives, as well as supports, monitors, and enhances the skills of the commercial sales team.

Primary responsibilities

- Establish and maintain direct relationships with key distribution partners, ensuring that our core philosophies, general business model, and current corporate initiatives are understood
- Establish and maintain a consistent flow of communication between field management personnel and corporate management.
- Review reports from various commercial sales team members respective to their designated area and work in concert with the field personnel to address any opportunities and challenges.
- Supply Schluter corporate management with a yearly regional sales plan.
- Support education and training events as needed.




- Manage the successful strategic resolution of all project complaints within their region.
- Ensure that all product compensation is communicated to and in compliance with the technical department.
- Escalate to and consult with Schluter corporate management on larger or potentially litigious claims.
- Represent Schluter corporate management at key functions and meetings within their regions.
- Act as point person for the A&D; team.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in commerce or management or related field experience
- 7 to 10 years of experience in a related field
- Familiarity with the company products, territories, markets, and clients

Competencies

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possesses strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates positive time management, territory management, and project management skills
- Able to drive a company vehicle & pass a driving record background check
- Comfortable with travelling up to 80% of the time to accommodate customer needs and expectations
- Familiarity with the company products, territories, markets, and clients

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $115,000.00 per year
