About the Role

Express Retail Group Inc. (ERG) is seeking a highly organized, hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a network of 32 Neko Drop automated retail machines operated by S&G; Vending.

ERG is an established automated retail company specializing in the development and operation of innovative unattended retail concepts across Canada and the United States.

The Operations Manager will be based in our Mississauga office and will take primary responsibility for supporting the S&G; Vending network, ensuring all 32 machines are operating properly, appropriately stocked, and supplied with the right products at the right time.

This is a hands-on operational role involving inventory management, purchasing, logistics, machine performance, replenishment planning, and management of field replenishment staff.

Experience in automated retail, vending, collectibles, trading cards, toys, inventory management, logistics, or multi-location retail operations would be a major asset.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operation and performance of approximately 32 Neko Drop automated retail machines
- Monitor machine status, sales activity, inventory levels, and operational issues
- Ensure machines remain operational, well-stocked, clean, and properly merchandised
- Manage inventory levels across the entire network
- Forecast inventory requirements based on sales and product movement




- Coordinate and manage product purchasing and ordering
- Manage incoming shipments, receiving, warehousing, and product distribution
- Determine inventory allocations for individual machines and locations
- Manage and coordinate field replenishment staff
- Develop efficient replenishment schedules and routes
- Monitor product performance and identify rapid- and slow-moving inventory
- Adjust product assortment and inventory levels based on sales trends
- Maintain accurate inventory records and operational reporting
- Coordinate logistics for machine installations, relocations, and product launches
- Work with technical and service partners to resolve machine issues quickly
- Provide regular operational and performance updates to management
- Develop processes and systems to improve efficiency as the business grows

What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is extremely organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of an operation.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience in operations, inventory management, logistics, retail, vending, or a related field
- Robust organizational and planning skills
- Experience managing inventory and product purchasing
- The ability to manage multiple locations and priorities simultaneously
- Experience managing or coordinating employees or field staff




- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and inventory/reporting systems
- Excellent communication and follow-through
- A willingness to be hands-on when required
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment

Experience with collectibles, Pokémon, trading cards, anime, blind boxes, toys, or similar product categories is a major advantage. Experience with vending machines, automated retail, or other unattended retail environments is also highly desirable.

The Opportunity

This is not simply an administrative position. The Operations Manager will have significant responsibility for the successful day-to-day operation of the S&G; Vending network.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership, stays ahead of inventory requirements, identifies problems before they become problems, and continuously looks for ways to improve operations.

As the network expands, there will be opportunities for the role and responsibilities to grow with the business.

Work Location: In person – Mississauga, Ontario

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional availability outside regular business hours when operational requirements arise.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
