Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15-minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to prepare and present high-quality dishes. You'll be responsible for ensuring that every plate leaving our kitchen meets the highest standards of taste and presentation.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to the recipe book and pictures
- Set up workstations with all the needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, such as chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat
- Ensure a great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized, following sanitation, food safety, hygiene, and other health and safety guidelines
- Check the quality of ingredients
- Train any second cook within the section
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in a similar position
- Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure




- Able to spend 100% of the time standing
- Must be fluent in English or French and 18 years or older
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Positive and collaborative team player attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, overnight hours, and holidays
- Must have a valid Canadian working visa
