Your future role on our team For over 15 years, BBA’s Labrador City office has delivered multidisciplinary engineering services to the region’s mining industry, supported by experts from across Canada.

As Office Director, you’ll build on BBA’s long-standing relationships with clients while leading the continued growth of our presence in Labrador West. Working closely with the St. John’s office director, you’ll guide office operations, develop the local team and drive business development across the region.

Leveraging your leadership, network and industry knowledge, you’ll help expand BBA’s footprint in both the mining and metals sectors and emerging renewable energy markets, supported by significant investment in the region. You’ll also champion the diversification of our services by growing environmental, water management and earth sciences capabilities while strengthening relationships with local communities, Indigenous partners and regional stakeholders.

This is an opportunity to lead a talented, multidisciplinary team, contribute to the region’s sustainable development and play a key role in shaping BBA’s future growth in Newfoundland and Labrador.

You’ll report to the Vice-President, Québec and Atlantic Operations, and oversee daily office operations while contributing to the firm’s strategic objectives and long-term success.

Summary Of Certifications And Job Requirements

- University degree in engineering or diploma in a relevant program of study
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, notably within a consulting engineering firm
- Experience and interest in business development
- In-depth knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering within the mining industry
- Experience in engaging and managing multidisciplinary work teams
- Excellent soft skills and collaborative management skills
- Experience in organizational development
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Asset: knowledge of the mining and metals market
- Asset: knowledge of the energy market
- Asset: significant network of contacts in the region
