About the role

We're looking for an Operations & Logistics Coordinator to own the shipping and delivery process end-to-end — from collecting customer shipping details to securing freight quotes to closing out each shipment with proper documentation.

Responsibilities

- Collect and verify shipping/delivery information from customers (addresses, contact details, delivery windows, special access requirements)
- Request and compare shipping quotes from freight forwarders and carriers; select the best option on cost and timeline
- Own Bills of Lading (BOLs) — prepare, verify, and file for every shipment
- Track shipments from pickup to delivery and proactively flag delays or issues
- Communicate directly with clients on shipping status, ETAs, and any exceptions
- Coordinate with freight forwarders/carriers on scheduling, pickup, and delivery logistics




- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation for each order
- Escalate freight or customs issues promptly with clear next steps

Requirements
- 2+ years in logistics, freight, or shipping coordination
- Comfortable working directly with carriers and freight forwarders to negotiate/compare rates
- Strong written and verbal communication — client-facing
- Detail-oriented, especially with documentation (BOLs, customs paperwork)
- Organized and able to manage multiple shipments/clients concurrently
- Experience with import/export or cross-border freight a plus

What success looks like Shipments move smoothly from quote to delivery with no missing paperwork, customers are kept informed without having to chase updates, and freight costs stay competitive through active carrier comparison.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 5.0 per week
