We are looking for an experienced Oracle Technical Analyst for a 6-month contract position, in Calgary, Alberta . Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Position is available as hybrid Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Role Description

- Lead and execute the end-to-end upgrade of Oracle EPM/Hyperion from version 11.2.10 to the current supported 11.2.x release.
- Manage upgrade planning, testing, implementation, and environment refreshes.
- Develop, document, and hand over a sustainable patching and upgrade framework for the modernized EPM environment.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal staff regarding Oracle platform optimization and architecture sustainability.

Responsibilities

- Partner with the Operations team to provide system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support for diverse COTS applications.
- Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Hyperion environments (Planning, Essbase, Financial Reporting, Shared Services, FDMEE, DRM).
- Troubleshoot application, middleware, and infrastructure issues, coordinating directly with Oracle Support and third-party vendors to drive resolution.
- Maintain and support existing interfaces, batch jobs, and data movement processes tied to financial, budgeting, and planning applications.
- Manage application security, including user provisioning, roles, and access controls across supported environments.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational standards, and support procedures

Required Skills and Experience

- Holds a bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and executing upgrade,



patch management, and lifecycle management strategies for Oracle enterprise platforms.
- Proven track record of successfully upgrading and supporting Oracle Hyperion / Oracle EPM environments.
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience supporting Oracle enterprise applications in complex production environments.
- Robust hands-on experience administering and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Experience managing middleware technologies, WebLogic, application servers, and supporting Oracle application infrastructure.
- Experience performing Oracle application patching (CPU, CSPU), environment cloning, migrations, and release management activities.
- Experience troubleshooting performance, integration, security, and availability issues across Oracle platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise reporting solutions, interfaces, data integrations, ETL processes, and financial systems.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems, shell scripting, and automation of operational processes.
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL/PLSQL development and a strong understanding of application-level database interactions.
- Experience working within cloud-hosted infrastructure and hybrid environments.
- Experience collaborating with implementation partners, vendors, and Oracle Support Services.
- Strong stakeholder communication and vendor management experience.
