Since 1993, Sharp Orthodontics has been transforming smiles and boosting confidence for families across Greater Victoria. We're a family-run specialty practice with offices in Langford and Saanich, and as our practice continues to grow, we're adding an enthusiastic, organized Treatment Coordinator to our team to guide new patients from their first visit to the day their treatment begins.

About the role

You'll be the primary point of contact for current patients, and the person families remember from their first appointment: the one who made them feel welcome, answered their questions clearly, and helped them feel confident about the next step. As our Treatment Coordinator, you'll lead our new-patient process from start to finish. You'll set the standard for how families are welcomed, keep every case moving, and be the key link between patients and our orthodontic team, making the experience smooth, personal, and well organized.

This is a full-time position shared between our Langford and Saanich offices.

What you'll do

- Welcome new patients and families and guide them through the initial consultation
- Explain treatment recommendations, timelines, and what to expect in a friendly, easy-to-understand way
- Present fees, payment options, and insurance estimates, and help families set up their financial arrangements
- Follow up with families who are still deciding, and keep in touch with patients waiting to start
- Schedule records and treatment-start appointments
- Help keep referring dentists informed about their patients' care
- Look for ways to improve the new-patient experience and bring your ideas to the team
- Support the front desk as needed





What we're looking for

- A confident self-starter who can run the new-patient process independently, take initiative, and follow through without needing to be asked
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine enjoyment of working with kids, teens, and parents
- Enthusiasm for creating exceptional patient experiences, and energy for a busy, growing practice
- Comfort discussing treatment costs and payment options with families
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Discretion and professionalism with confidential patient and financial information
- A real interest in orthodontics and a willingness to learn. We'll train you on the clinical, insurance, and software side
- Ability to work at both our Langford and Saanich locations

Nice to have, but not required

- Experience in a dental or orthodontic office
- Experience as a CDA or LDA
- Knowledge of dental insurance
