Schedule: Monday–Sunday, approximately 5:00 AM–8:00 AM
Hours: 3 hours per day
About the Position
Northern Star Janitorial Services is looking for two reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Cleaners to provide daily cleaning services at sites in North Bay.
The successful candidates will work as a team to maintain the store in a clean, secure, and presentable condition.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize washrooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and auto-scrub floors
- Clean entrances and high-traffic areas
- Clean sales floor and receiving areas
- Clean staff lunchroom/breakroom areas
- Empty garbage and recycling
- Dust and wipe surfaces as required
- Replenish supplies as required
- Complete assigned daily and periodic cleaning duties
- Follow all cleaning procedures and safety requirements
- Maintain a professional and consistent standard of cleanliness
Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including standing, walking, bending and lifting
- Must be able to work the early morning schedule
- Must have reliable transportation to the location
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks within the scheduled time
